Friendship, the sweetest influence.

History

The Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji or Phi Gam) was founded May 1, 1848 at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Our Zeta Phi Chapter of William Jewell College in Liberty, MO was founded in 1886. We have an on campus house that holds 48 brothers. The Zeta Phi Chapter is the sixth longest active chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. We are the most diverse fraternity with involvement in school programs/clubs, athletics, academic studies, and have brothers from different countries around the world! We continue to carry out the mission, vision, and values that were established by our founders over a hundred years ago.

Mission

Phi Gamma Delta unites men in enduring friendships, stimulates the pursuit of knowledge, and builds courageous leaders who serve the world with the best that is in them.

Vision

To be an active, vital force of men who courageously live our values and make a positive impact on college and community.
